Incorporation, Constitution and By-Laws
I. Corporate Name: Asian University Basketball Federation (AUBF)
II. Registered: Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
III. Established: Started in 1998 in cooperation with the Asian University SportsFederation (AUSF), Asian Basketball Association (ABA) and FIBA-Asia;

VI. Objectives:
a. To encourage the development of basketball in school sport activities throughout the Asian continent;
b. To participate in the Asian University Championship for men, women and other related competitions approved by the AUBF Executive Committee;
c. To promote goodwill, friendship and camaraderie among the Asian country members through its cultural and tradition exchange of student in the different university from Asia.
VII. Membership:
a. Membership are those from the different national organizations, institutions, clubs that are accredited by the AUBF since 1998;
b. A one-time membership fee is US$ 300;
c. Membership accredited by the AUBF can participate in all official competitions of the AUBF Championship, while registration or participation fee shall be determined by the AUBF Executive Committee to be imposed for a particular event.
VIII. Finance:
a. The Chairman of the Finance Commission shall prepared or recommend the budget expenses of the secretariat or any tournament proper of AUBF Championship events;
b. Makes financial study regarding event that will be organized;
c. Coordinate with the Treasurer for any necessary presentation or operation of the AUBF programs and future activities.

X. Term of Office:
a. The term of office is once in every four (4) years from 2006-2010;
b. The officers came from the membership from different organizations in different country who has been affiliated and accredited with the AUBF since 1998;
c. The term of office is very simplify with the officers from the members of the AUBF Executive Committee that will run the affairs of the federation.
XI. Congress and its Members:
a. Congress are held once every two (2) years;
b. Congress membership are members accredited by the AUBF since 1998;
c. Congress are held at the Secretary General’s location of its country or the President’s location of its country or alternately, but can be proposed on the request of the accredited members as host and approved by the AUBF Executive Committee;
d. Congress members are AUBF Executive Committee, Directors, and other different national organization, institutions or clubs in their respective countries accredited and affiliated with AUBF.

XIII. Conduct of Meetings and Election
a. Meetings are held at the location of the AUBF Secretariat.
b. Election of officers came from the following members accredited by the AUBF Executive Committee
c. Conduct of election is based on the nomination from the accredited members for the following position of the AUBF Executive Committee.
d. The President will be the presiding chairman of the meeting, in case of incapability, any of the Vice President or the Secretary General shall preside the meeting.
XIV. Annual Official Competitions of Events and Country’s Hosting:
a. Asian University Basketball Championship for men;
b. Asian University Basketball Championship for Women;
c. Asian University 3 on 3 Basketball Competition for Men and Women;
d. Asian University Basketball Festival;
1. Shooting Contest;
2. Exchange of Students in Cultural through Sport Activities;
3. Sightseeing tour;
4. Citation award for outstanding sport official;
5. All-Star University Games – East and West teams
XV. Modification of the Constitution and By-Laws:
a. There will be no rules of the AUBF shall be modified or rescinded, nor any new ones made, unless two weeks time or 14 clear days of notice has been given to each accredited members, then voting based only on a simple majority of those present are consider resolve;
b. The voting of the modification of the AUBF Constitution and By-Laws at the annual Congress or Special Meeting must include full notice of the proposed modification.
c. All proposed modification for the set of meeting must be approved by the AUBF Executive Committee.
